Terms of Use — SpendScopio
Last updated: 23 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of the SpendScopio app ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which these Terms supplement.
2. What the app does
SpendScopio helps you import, categorize and review your personal expenses. Categorization is performed by automated rules and AI. It is a tool to help you organize your finances, not financial, accounting, tax or investment advice. AI categorization can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting your data before relying on it.
3. Free features and Premium subscription
- Importing statements, categorization, the dashboard and manual breakdown are free.
- Premium unlocks AI scanning of receipts and online orders. It is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual).
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Unused free-trial time (if any) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits, or upload content you have no right to process.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that categorization will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions you make based on the app's output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Any maintenance, support and warranty obligations are ours, not Apple's.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these Terms. We may suspend the service for users who breach these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
